Notary Service
Do you have documents on which your signature needs to be notarized? Bring them to us, unsigned, and we will gladly notarize your signature as a courtesy to our customers. There is a $10 per notary service for non-customers.

Please bring a photo ID with you as state laws require us to verify your identification, even if we know you.

Regulations do not allow us to notarize the following documents: wills, trusts, durable power of attorney, warranty deeds, quit claim deeds or any "certified copies" such as birth certificates.

ACH Origination
In addition, you have the following Cash Management options:
  • ACH Origination 3, 5 – allows a business customer to automatically send an electronic credit (direct deposit) or debit (direct payment) to or from any bank account in the United States. Organizations that create these transactions are called Originators. Transactions can be either debits or credits.

Payroll is the most popular application of Direct Deposit, but it can be also be used for many other types of payments, such as electronically crediting a deposit account for the net payroll amount, bonuses and commissions, interest payments, pensions or travel expenses.

Direct Deposit is:
  • Simple – simplifies the account reconciliation process
  • Confidential – Direct Deposit increases payroll confidentiality because it reduces the number of people needed to process, distribute and reconcile payroll. Bank tellers, store clerks and other co-workers don't see your check.

Direct Payment is also known as automatic bill payment, automatic debit, electronic bill payment or direct debit. It can be used for many types of recurring payments, such as utility payments, account drafts, newspaper subscriptions, dues, insurance premiums, etc.

How does Business Express Deposit work?

You can continue to accept check payments from your customers. Using our Business Express Deposit service and a scanner provided by Charlotte State Bank & Trust, you can scan and transmit those checks along with an electronic deposit slip securely over the Internet to us. We pick up your Business Express Deposit and process the checks accordingly. (Receive same day credit if the deposit is transmitted by 4:00 p.m. on any bank business day). It’s just that simple!

1. All transfer and loan payment requests received before 7:30 p.m. on business days will be processed on the same business day, requests received after 7:30 p.m. will be processed on the next business day.
2. The availability of this feature is contingent upon the ongoing satisfactory operation of the checking account. Bill Pay is currently not available for accounts requiring more than one signature.
3. Subject to credit approval and separate agreement

For Money Market Deposit Accounts and Savings Accounts: No more than six transfers and/or withdrawals during any one (1) calendar month or statement cycle (the period from one statement to the next) or similar period of at least four weeks, to another of your accounts with us or to a third party by means of a preauthorized or automatic transfer, or telephonic (including data transmission) agreement, order or instruction, or by check, draft, debit card, or similar order made by you and payable to third parties. Transfers and withdrawals made in person, by messenger or at an ATM are unlimited.
  • Money Market Deposit Account Regulatory withdrawal service fee: $7 is charged for each item over the regulatory limit.
